After many, many years in the making, the Chips and Gravy team is set to officially start using this website.
An idea hatched at the Parkwood Tavern on the Gold Coast in the early part of this century, the concept of creating an online map to the best chips and gravy in Australia lay dormant for the best part of five years - until now.
While chips and gravy formed the basis of our diet in our university days, our palettes have progressed, and we wanted to share our delicious finds with the masses.
So from this moment forward, this page will be dedicated to all those delicious finds across Australia that are missed or overlooked in your usual high brow restaurant review.
Whether it's the chicko rolls at your local Mobil at 3am, or the pad thai at that little place in Agnes Water - we want to know about it.
We've also got the Chips and Gravy team on the case throughout Australia (well, where possible), to provide official blogs on what gets our taste buds doing the happy dance.
Not wanting to discriminate, we'll also try, in the name of our readers, to source the best watering holes throughout the country.
But chips and gravy are still in our heart (albeit mostly in our drunken hearts), so what better way to kick off this site than asking you, our very limited readers, to tell us where you think the best chips, gravy, or both, can be found throughout the country.
